German sanitary manufacturer GROHE is celebrating a record, having received more than 60 design awards last year
GROHE continues to cement its position as world's leading provider of sanitary fittings after receiving huge success and recognition from the world's leading design awards. In the last 10 years alone, GROHE has received more than 300 design and innovation awards for its products. Last year saw the company hit a record 62 design awards, the highest number the brand has earned in a single year. GROHE participated in 17 international design competitions last year.
Among the awards received were five Red Dot Design Awards, three Good Design Awards and the International Design Excellence Award. The highly acclaimed Red Dot Design Competition recognised products including GROHE's Blue Home and Sensia Arena systems. GROHE also succeeded five times at Germany's own IF Design Awards. Gaining recognition again were the Blue Home and Sensia Arena systems as well as the newly-developed SmartControl Concealed shower system. GROHE's Blue Home system shone the brightest, taking home 11 awards and making it the biggest winner of the year. Closer to home in Hong Kong, GROHE scored at the Design for Asia Awards with its Lineare bathroom faucets and Concetto Professional kitchen faucet. Both products, along with Sense and Sense Guard, also won over the jury of the Good Design Awards in Japan.
