The AIA Hong Kong Chapter is the largest international chapter of the Institute and hosted its 2019 Honor Awards and Annual dinner at The Rotunda in Exchange Square, Hong Kong  on 19 November to celebrate a fruitful year of success.

Design submissions were recognized in the following categories: Architecture, Interior Architecture and Urban Design, together with Scholastic Awards to reflect undergraduate talents and Citation Awards to organisations for their distinguished achievements in raising public awareness of architecture and the built environment.IMG_671Rounding off the evening, John Sellery, Group Managing Director of M Moser Associates Asia Pacific was inducted as a Fellow of the AIA. A nice anecdote is the current eight members, upon learning of his achievement, contributed towards the cost of his Fellowship insignia pin.

Of a total worldwide 80,000+ membership, only 3 per cent achieve fellowship status. Sellery represents the ninth Fellow across the AIA Hong Kong Chapter's 250+ members.
