Smeg’s retro refrigerator sings the (denim) blues

A stand-out hit at last year’s international design show, Milan’s Eurocucina, was Smeg’s new denim-clad retro refrigerator, a collaboration between Smeg and Lapo Elkann, CEO of Italia Independent and heir to the Fiat company.

Sporting beautifully 1950s retro styling the FAB28 Denim is clad entirely in dark denim (complete with traditional ‘jeans’ stitching) that has been treated with nano plasma technology to prevent fading and staining.
