Rado is to showcase a collection of wristwatches from its True Designers' Series at the DesignInspire expo, which takes place from December 7 to 9 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Also on display will be award-winning timepieces and some of the watches debuted at this year's Baselworld.
The expo, organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council, has the theme of Urbanovation, and will showcase how different innovative designs break through traditional frameworks and create new lifestyle – and business – opportunities. This echoes Rado's brand philosophy of combining innovative design and use of revolutionary materials to create the world's most durable watches.
For the True Designers' Series, Rado has collaborated with world-renowned designers, who have each brought their unique vision to create different interpretations of the Rado True model. The six design-driven timepieces have been created by six big names: True Blaze by American interior designer Sam Amoia; True Phospo by Swiss design studio Big-Game; True Cyclo by French designer Philippe Nigro; True Shadow by Japanese designer Kunihiko Morinaga; True Face by Polish architect Oskar Zieta; and True Stratum by Austrian designer Rainer Mutsch. All are limited editions.
Besides the True Designers’ collection, models unveiled earlier this year at Baselworld including the new DiaMaster Power Reserve, new additions to the HyperChrome Captain Cook, Ceramica and DiaMaster Grande Seconde collections, and new colourful variations of the super slim True Thinline collection, will be exhibited at the DesignInspire expo this week as well.

Venue: Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, No.1 Expo Drive, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
