This edition is expected to attract more than 4,360 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions; special highlights include the Design and Brand Management Services Zone, where 22 Hong Kong companies will showcase their wares and demonstrate their design talent and services to event-goers. Some of the exhibitors of this zone are highlighted below.
3D-PRINTED ACCESSORIES BY DESIGNER JOEY LAU
This nature-inspired line was conceived by Joey Lau, a budding talent and former Perspective 40 Under 40 award winner. Her jewellery design has also won her the Design Intelligence Award (Hangzhou, China) in 2018. Highlights from Lau's upcoming exhibition include elegant silver jewellery with soft, organic lines.WALL DECAL SERIES BY HAPPIHOOD CREATIONS
Inspired by Dutch artist MC Escher, Happihood Creations will present a series of funky wall decorations designed to liven up the home. The four patterns have been specially created using a polypropylene static film. Consumers can create their own wall layout using decals that can be placed on any smooth surface, without the worry of glue and residual stains. Happihood Creations previously won the Bronze Prize and Hong Kong Best at the Hong Kong Designers Association Global Design Awards 2016.ONNON BACKPACKS BY MUDHOUSE LIMITED
ONNON's patented X:STRAP system is what makes it stand out from the rest of the pack, courtesy of the shoulder straps that provide ergonomical support by distributing the weight of the load evenly across the whole back panel of the bag. The shoulder straps can be detached to wash or replaced with a new pair, prolonging the life of the backpack.
