Through his extensive portfolio, furniture designer Samuel Chan has cultivated an international following and has received five British Design Guild Marks. International contract projects include the award-winning Malmaison group, independent boutique hotels The Hempel and The Scarlet, as well as new the design for London landmarks Grosvenor House and The Langham.

Starting his career at the age of 16 selling vintage clothing, Ross Urwin, Lane Crawford’s creative director, home and lifestyle, has worked throughout Europe and Asia, particularly in Tokyo, where he worked closely with Japanese designers, retailers and publications. He was business manager/design consultant at Liberty of London from 2003 to 2007, where he was instrumental in changing the British retailer’s image from classic to innovative.

Winner of Best Artist Award in 2010, assistant professor Kacey Wong’s recent works investigate the poetics of space between men and their living environment. His floating house ‘Paddling Home’ was part of the 2010 Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture.
