After a year-long renovation, the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino has just reopened for business

Part of the global lifestyle hotel brand Renaissance Hotels, the $40 million transformation has completely revamped the Domican Republic property. Much detail and effort went into the preservation of the hotel's historic aspects, blending them with ultra-modern design elements to create the leading lifestyle hotel in Santo Domingo. Originally built in 1942, the hotel sits in the oldest city on the new world and recaptures the spirit, culture, and design that made the Santo Domingo Jaragua hotel an icon.

Vibrant colours can be seen throughout the interiors of the renovated hotel, reflecting the many hues of the eclectic Caribbean. "Santo Domingo is a historic city in the Caribbean with rich tradition and a vibrant local culture. We are incredibly excited to unveil the renovated Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino and invite our guests to discover the local flavor of Santo Domingo," said Dan Vinh, Vice President Marketing, Renaissance Hotels.
