Le French May might be over in Hong Kong, but the associated programme continues, and this includes Paint Me! I’m (almost) Famous, an exhibition that will showcase the talents of four French artists: Marcos Marin, Fox Daniels, Tehos and Artheline.
The exhibition explores the concept that most people secretly desire to be famous, with the artists putting a uniquely French spin on their creations. The contemporary works on show will include both painting and sculpture and will consider themes such as vanity, appearance and popularity.
"This bold, cross-genre art exhibition offers a unique opportunity for people to explore the works of contemporary French artists and at the same time, bring them closer to the playfulness of French culture here in Hong Kong,” said marketing director for Avenue des Arts Gallery, Jennifer Duval.
Venue: 22/F California Tower, 32 D’Aguilar Street, Central, Hong Kong
Date: 26 June – 2 July
Opening hours: 12pm-10pm daily
