Co-living in Hong Kong: a brand new co-living concept has arrived in Hong Kong with brand Oootopia
In keeping with the growing trend of co-living in Hong Kong, new brand Oootopia has landed in Hong Kong, opening first in Kai Tak with an additional Tai Kok Tsui location added in May. The brand's third property is scheduled to open before the end of the year on Hong Kong Island.
Oootopia was jointly created by Hong Kong-based real-estate investment manager ARCH Capital and Singaporean firm Wanderwonder Hospitality."Co-living will be the driving force of Hong Kong's future property market amid demand for affordable housing in the world's most expensive city for real estate," said ARCH Capital chief executive Richard Yue. "Besides offering serviced residences, our emphasis is on social interaction and entrepreneurship among likeminded people."
Responsible for the design of all three properties is Hong Kong-based architecture firm Groundwork Architects + Associates Hong Kong. The firm employed materials with natural tones for a sense of homeliness and a touch of warmth.
