British luxury motorcar manufacturer Bentley Motors recently launched the newest member of the Mulsanne family in Hong Kong, providing a first-class air travel experience on the road and setting a new benchmark in automotive comfort

Handcrafted in Crewe, England,  the Mulsanne is the flagship of the Bentley range. Since its debut, it has combined elegant style, exquisite craftsmanship, sophisticated technology, and effortless power to deliver the ultimate expression of British automotive luxury.

The recently unveiled edition Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase (Mulsanne EWB) was specifically designed for the supreme comfort of rear-seat passengers.

The model's wheelbase has been extended from 3,266 mm up to 3,516 mm. Airline-style electronic leg rests have been integrated into the bases of the two rear seats. These extend outward and pivot, affording rear-seat passengers the luxury of choice between upright, relaxed and reclined seating positions, as if they were on a private jet.

Rear-seat passengers can also make use of the Bentley Entertainment Tablets: a pair of 10.2" Android devices (with 4G, wifi and Bluetooth) are seamlessly integrated into the backs of the front seats. These tablets feature a Bentley-specific interface, offering access to over a million Android apps and can be used away from the car, in the office and at home.

The latest high-tech features and equipment also make the Mulsanne EWB perfect as a mobile office. For example, its trademark hushed ride has been improved with the integration of the latest noise absorption technology into the Mulsanne's tyres, which reduces interior cabin noise by up to 4 dBA.

Other innovations are as beautiful as they are practical. Separating the two rear seats is a beautifully-appointed console, created with the finest handcrafted veneer, metal, glass and leather. Both functional and fabulous, the console houses USB ports, penholders, cup holders and a glass-covered storage area.

Externally, both the front and rear of the Mulsanne EWB have been radically redesigned to deliver cleaner, sharper lines. Vertical stainless vanes have been reintroduced to the front grille, inspired by Bentley's iconic cars such as the 8 Litre, the Mark V and the R Type.

As the first member of the new Mulsanne range to arrive in Hong Kong,  Bentley is now accepting pre-orders for the Mulsanne EWB. Other models available include Flying Spur, Continental Series and Bentayga SUV. Buyers looking for a personalised vehicle can request Bentley's personal commissioning department Mulliner to deliver their needs.
