Ringing in the new When we launched Perspective in 1999, we set out to reflect the energy and the creativity of Hong Kong, one of the world’s greatest and most exciting cities, as well as the region and the rest of the world. This year, we’re upping our pace with renewed determination to give you nothing less than our best. We will be strengthening the distribution of Perspective to ensure that copies go out to every organisation in Hong Kong which is involved in architecture, property development and interior design — and this year, Perspective also becomes one of the few magazines in Hong Kong to be audited. We’ve revamped our design, from the cover (with a more functional and stylish layout which clearly highlights our top features) through to the paper stock (matt art paper for a super-white, high-end look to match the people and the projects we feature) and even the bodytext font, which is now san serif for a cleaner, more 『open’ look that’s also easier to read. Images are more judiciously selected than ever before — only the best will do! — and an artistic use of white space ensures 『breathing room’ and visual impact. Last but not least, we aim to bring the industry to life through its most important resource: the people.
