Canny crossovers In this month’s issue, the role of art in design and architecture is brought into sharp focus, with interviews with Pascal Mory, the curator of the global Le Corbusier exhibition (page 71), and Julian Middleton of the newly-formed Aedas Art Team (page 74) — and the new Serpentine Galleries Pavilion by Spanish architects Selgascano (page 22) is the perfect illustration of the increasingly close connection between the built structure and art. Meanwhile, behind the scenes here at Perspective, we’ve made a few changes on the management side in recent weeks. Our founder and long-standing publisher and executive director Kiki Yau is taking a break from overseeing the business, and we have brought in sales and marketing specialist firm AIM to take over the commercial operations. Peter Jeffery, the managing director of AIM, joins our executive director team alongside Nigel Oakins, so joining the more familiar faces from Perspective, you’ll also be seeing a few new ones at our events and various other meetings and functions — but other than that, it’s business as usual. • Don’t forget we’ve changed the name of our Instagram feed to @perspective_mag — if you already follow us, you won’t need to do anything. If not, then look for us on IG and click 'Follow’. PLUS: we’re online with up-to-the-minute news and regular design updates at and as well!
