The Luxury Collection® Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. have announced the opening of The Grand Mansion, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Nanjing, China

The hotel is the brand’s seventh in China, and is situated on the lower stretches of the Yangzi River in a city that is full of historical heritage and is regarded as an up-and-coming university town. It features 158 luxurious guestrooms, including 15 suites and an expansive Presidential Suite which captures the rich history of the surrounding area. Led by I.M. Pei Architects with HBA Interior Design, the design of the hotel draws inspiration from the Ming-dynasty, a time when Nanjing was the nations’s capital.
