MGallery by Sofitel, a collection of upscale boutique hotels, will get three new additions in the space of a month.
Designed in partnership with renowned architects Michaelis Boyd, Victory House London Leicester Square's interiors are a nod to the many cinemas that are to be found in the district, while the rich heritage of the late 19th-century building – in early French Renaissance style by leading theatre designer Walter Emden – has also been acknowledged; its terracotta facade, for example, has been preserved.
The hotel has 86 bedrooms in a contemporary style, including nine suites, each offering luxurious front-row views when stars gather for film premieres in the square.
The Retreat Palm Dubai, MGallery's first property in the Middle East, is tucked away on the exclusive coastline of Palm Jumeirah's East Crescent, and aims to offer guests a holistic well-being experience. With 255 rooms and suites, designed with natural elements, earth tones and incorporating elements of feng shui, its architecture and design speak to serenity. The resort's Rayya Wellness Centre offers an uplifting rejuvenation experience.
Tarčin Forest Resort and Spa, Sarajevo, MGallery's first Balkan hotel, is nestled in the midst of Tarčin's verdant forests. The hotel is a contemporary, elegant curved building designed to blend in with the natural landscape. Featuring impressive ceiling heights, large bay windows and balconies, as well as pure lines which help to engender a peaceful chalet-like atmosphere, the guestrooms are spacious and afford stunning forest and mountain views, while the interiors are decorated with natural woods, wool and subtle touches of traditional Kilim patterns.
With 90 addresses in 24 countries around the world, MGallery is a fast-growing collection under the Sofitel brand, which itself is part of the AccorHotels Group. MGallery has plans for 32 new openings around the globe in the next five years.
