Herman Miller, a global furniture company based in West Michigan, has just released details about its new Aeron Chair.
Designed by Don Chadwick and a team of scientists, engineers, material specialists and researchers, the new Aeron Chair combines the latest technology of anthropometrics and ergonomics with advancement in materials and manufacturing.
The chair allows natural movement as users can switch from forward to reclining postures comfortably. It is designed to keep people in contact with the back of the chair, and in control of their continuous movement throughout the entire range of recline.
The PostureFit SL™ technology aims to provide back support to maintain the natural S-shape of the spine, minimising the potential risk of damage to the back.
Additionally, the new 8Z Pellicle offers comfort through eight varied zones of tension in the seat and back to comfortably envelop the sitter and provide ample support.
This new product is designed in three sizes and is expected to be officially launched in the first quarter of this year.
