Headquartered in Hong Kong, The Garage Society has recently opened its newest co-working space Garage Collective in Sai Ying Pun. Designed by Studio Adjective, with artwork by Zoie from Zlism It is hoped that the 8,000 sq-ft loft space on Connaught Road West will become home to Hong Kong's next generation of lifestyle entrepreneurs.
Featuring an eclectic mix of interior styles such as industrial-style meeting rooms and Scandinavian simplicity, the space offers a modern working environment to its users, with a pet-friendly policy helping to make the office an even better place to be.
The space encompasses 14 private offices, 21 private desks, and 30 hot desks to accommodate the increasing demand in a modern approach to working in Hong Kong. In addition to providing secretarial, accounting, human resources, and digital marketing services, the co-work operator has integrated design-centric pop-up & event spaces into Garage Collective, thereby making it easier for freelancers and companies from all industries to get all the support they need.
Alongside the offices and event space, the co-working space also features an in-house vegetarian restaurant, The Herbivores, to encourage healthy eating among employees, and also to reflect Garage Society's values and advocacy of environmental sustainability.
"As a responsible business operator, we would like to be able to make positive changes to our community," says Elaine Tsung, the founder of Garage Society. "Co-working spaces help provide a platform for startups to thrive, and we are thrilled to be able to do our part by encouraging people to lead a greener and healthier lifestyle."
Garage Collective joins Garage Society's DVR, QRC, and Garage Destination (Phuket) locations in providing a collaborative environment that allows both local and international businesses to call home. The operator has its doors open for people from all walks of life and companies at all stages of growth – from technology startups and creative freelancers to brick-and-mortar businesses.
