The historic Lutétia swimming pool in Paris is transformed by RDAI into a unique flagship store for Hermès

Situated in the heart of the Saint German des Prés quarter of Paris, the Art-Deco style Lutétia swimming pool has been listed as a historic monument since 2005. Now the Hermès Rive Gauche boutique, the 60-year-old structure has undergone a complete transformation that celebrates heritage and modernity, savoir-faire and style – all characteristics for which the Hermès brand is known.

With a strong track record and a working relationship with Hermès dating back to 1976, RDAI, led by architect Denis Montel, set about introducing the 16 new services from the brand all under one roof. Ranging from a florist and bookshop to a tea room, there is also an enlarged collection in the art de vivre department, which includes furniture and new interior decoration products.
