In the heart of Rimini, Italy, Augeo Art Space offers a unique concept of art gallery and spa combined

Developed from an idea by architect/designer  Yasmine Mahmoudieh, the interior has been converted from a 17th century mansion in Palazzo Spina. The only space of its kind in the world, it is separated into two areas: the art gallery and the spa area, and endeavours to promote wellness, personal enrichment and inner growth.

A sculptural form made by Italian company DForm greets guests at the entrance of the space and moves throughout, transforming into seating areas and the reception area along the way. Created from HI-MACS® , the fluidity of the design reflects the core principles of the interior and acts as a unifying element reference for guests. The white surfaces that avail the area can also be used for digital art installations.

To counteract the crisp, white effect seen in the other areas, the spa uses darker spaces, inviting guests to relax in both mind and body. Large slabs of black stone are complemented by precious mosaics and contemporary urban finishings, giving a luxurious look to the massage and Turkish bath areas. An ATT Vertical shower by Dornbracht is also included, offering three settings for guests: Balancing, De-stressing or Energising. A fitness room is situated on the lower floor, incorporating coloured lights to add dimension, giving the room depth and movement.
