    Toto, Japan’s leading producer of sanitary ware commissioned e15, along with three other international architects to each design a lounge as part of the company’s inaugural exhibition at ISH 2009. For the launch of their new product range, NeoRest Series / LE at ISH, the international fair for sanitary ware and building technology in Frankfurt, Toto asked Philipp Mainzer and his e15 design team to create one of the company’s exhibition lounges. The German architect and his e15 design team created a luxurious, open space using select materials to realise an inviting and spiritual bathing space rather than only a functional room. Main elements featured are a natural white washed oak floor to ground the environment, contrasted by a bespoke sculptural monolithic cube housing sink and bath. Philipp Mainzer’s exhibition design for Toto’s ISH presentation presents the first working relationship between the Japanese producer of sanitary ware and the German design and architecture brand. ...Collapse
