The outer screen masks a smoked glass and wood box, with bronze portals connecting the skins. Inside, the double-layer effect makes one feel that they are trespassing. Materials are raw. Straight pew-like wooden benches & a DJ booth line the walls. Furnishings are modular wood and steel; graffiti is in Chinese but Rauschenberg & Polish Goth-inspired, burnt chandeliers and bare light bulbs hang…all juxtaposed with silks, haired hide upholstery and lacquered stools. The front bar itself is composed of a series of modular steel units which when removed and reconfigured, reveal the saw-tooth concrete edge. With the lights turned low, guests can experience what is truly ‘punk’ about the space. ...Collapse - Use of Colours, Materials / List of Major Materials
