KaCaMa Design Lab

Award-winning KaCaMa Design Lab is a Hong Kong-based product design company which specialises in reusing post-consumer waste materials. They aim to not just enrich people's lives, but also to instill eco- awareness, as well as establish contact with local enterprises, craftsmen and culture. KaCaMa is also actively involved in exhibitions such as Detour HK 2010 and 2011, and the International Design Festival 2011 DMY.

Hans Tan Studio

Hans Tan, a designer and an educator based in Singapore, focuses on contextual research that yields conceptual propositions through design, with investigations that employ function as a medium, producing outcomes that explore values, rituals and materiality. He earned the distinction of Les Découvertes (best innovative product) at the fall edition of Maison et Objet 2012 in Paris, and Design of the Year at Singapore's President's Design Award 2012.

Boris Design Studio

Katarina Ivarsson and Anna Karlsson founded Boris Design Studio after working together at SWE DES, a joint-venture in Hong Kong by Sweden's leading design consultancies. Boris Design Studio focuses on storytelling, while in their consultancy work, the duo mainly focus on product design and design research. They recently released their first research book, focusing on future mobile technologies and product applications, together with Mobilelife, Microsoft Research Cambridge, Nokia Research and Ericsson Research.

Sothing Industrial Design Company

In early 2010, when he was still in his first year of graduate studies, Ran Xiangfei founded Sothing Industrial Design Company with a classmate in Wenzhou. Sothing professes the philosophy that 『all things have a shape, but minds have no limitation', expressing Chinese traditional poetry and culture through its products. By inheriting and spreading tradition, the products of Sothing combine traditional living knowledge and technology, using modern design concepts to showcase the unique tranquility and breath of nature.

Yota Kakuda Design

Yota Kakuda obtained an MA at the Royal College of Art under Ron Arad and Sir Kenneth Grange, where he was awarded a scholarship from the Japanese government. Moving back to Tokyo in 2008, he joined Muji as a product designer and in 2011, established Yota Kakuda Design, where he works in a variety of design fields for both international and domestic clients.
