Rather than remove existing fish pond, the pond is integrated with the newly made sculptural pavilion rejecting to the traditional Chinese roof kiosk. Constructed with steel structure provided by client, the pavilion comprises 6 columns, 1 wall, 1 ceiling & 1 bench. It was furnished with local grey tile and wooden deck against white factory building creating a strong focal point to the space.
The design team also designed a linear wall’s slot, a large opening ceiling and a stone bench to add identity as well as to articulate surrounding green environment. ...Collapse
