Three new judges announced for Perspective's A&D Trophy Awards 2016

Perspective is excited to announce that three new judges will be joining the 2016 edition of the A&D Trophy Awards

As the region’s leading architecture, interiors and product design competition, A&D Trophy Awards 2016 is set to be even bigger and better than before! (Click here for registration)

With the gala event being held at the new designer location of Hotel sáv in November, a number of leading industry experts have confirmed their participation as judges for the various categories of the competition. In addition to this, three new judges have been confirmed in the student section of the competition.

In the product design section, William Lee from Loveramics joins the judging panel for the first time. With his passion for ceramics, in 2008 he founded his company in Hong Kong in order to create beautiful, practical and affordable tableware.

Joining the students architecture section of the competition is EeTiong Lim, studio director at Atkins Hong Kong. During his career, he has been responsible for the design and management of a series of high-profile projects, including the Victoria Station redevelopment project in London, England; Alila Resort hotel in Lishui, China and China Merchants Bank HQ Tower in Shanghai.

Another new addition to the students architecture section is Ferdinand Cheung from Benoy, Hong Kong. As a director at Bonoy, Cheung has a particular interest in designing projects that sit well contextually within their surroundings. Throughout his career, he has worked on such projects as: Chengdu IFS, Chengdu, China; Shanghai Vanke South Station Phase 3, Shanghai, China; Financial Tower, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, Vietnam and Chong Hing Bank Headquarter Redevelopment, Central, Hong Kong.
