In its 11th edition, Perspective’s 40 Under 40 Awards 2017 looks set to be bigger and better than ever with a programme that has been refined to best suit the magazine’s target audience

Hong Kong's premiere architecture and design magazine is proud to present a refined focus for the 11th 40 Under 40 Awards programme, a formal recognition of up-and-coming talents in the design industry. This year, Perspective welcomes nominations from practitioners working within the fields of art, architecture, interior design and product design, celebrating the next generation of skilled designers in Asia-Pacific who excel in creativity, artistry and innovation, aged under 40.

With a strong readership and widespread support from leading industry figures both regionally and internationally, Perspective magazine has honed its edge by focusing on the new and the breakthrough; by looking at both established, well- known success stories as well as young, upcoming talents. Over the past decade, 400 promising creative talents recognised by the programme have gone on have been selected and emerged to become design leaders of today — such as Andre Fu, Barrie Ho, Bjarke Ingels, Alexis Holm and Caroline Olah, to name a few.

The final 40 will be chosen by Perspective’s editorial team based on the nominee's professional achievements, contributions to the industry, and potential for future development and growth. Consideration is also given to any awards won, participation in industry events at a speaker, panellist, or judge level (where applicable), and contributions to society.

The winners will be announced in May, at an awards ceremony in Hong Kong, so nominate yourself or someone who you think may fit the bill here.
