New development by Henderson Leasing Agency Company Ltd, ┬áH Queen’s (HQ) is set to create a new artistic hub in the centre of Hong Kong

Designed by renowned architect and artist William Lim of CL3 Architects, HQ is a 24-storey development on Queen’s Road Central. With a location that is right at the centre of the city, it is hoped that the development will help transform the area into a more creative cultural destination.

Kristine Li, assistant general manager of Henderson Leasing Agency Company Ltd., "HQ is a game changer. The building incorporates an historic setting with an advanced modern design and a premium tailored space that capitalises on the urban backdrop of Central. Committed to forging a creative community and making Hong Kong a more vibrant place to live, HQ presents this programme to bring art closer to the general public."

HQ houses spaces for exhibitions to promote the arts, and the building’s unique architecture provides maximum flexibility and eco-friendly features. The design includes multi-functional layouts, bi-folding doors and expansive balconies to accommodate a wide range of exhibition and entertainment needs. The building will also include an integrated building maintenance unit which is designed to facilitate the smooth delivery of artwork and includes a custom-made mechanical system to protect valuable art pieces.

The project is scheduled for completion in mid-2017.
